Michelle joined Reuters in the UK in 2001 and for the first decade of her career with the company managed large teams of data analysts and content professionals as well as large strategic projects. During this time Michelle completed an executive MBA specialising in Sustainable Business and since then has passionately been advocating for the role that business should play in contributing to the creation of a sustainable future. Michelle moved to Asia, settling in Sydney after a stint in Bangkok, to take up leadership roles in the frontline teams, heading up Service, Customer engagement and Account Management teams specialising in buyside client workflow and solutions. Michelle’s current role is Asia head of Sustainable Investment and Finance for Refinitiv. In this role she is responsible for Refinitiv’s Sustainable Investment, Data and Analytics solutions and our engagement with clients on our suite of solutions to support and enable them to make sustainable investment decisions. Michelle is involved in numerous networks and industry bodies supporting the growth of integrating sustainability practices across the financial community.
